Tower of wisdom

Prague’s central library harbours a little treasure, on top of shelf upon shelf of literature, namely this tower of books, found in the library’s lobby:

You can have a quick peek inside, too, and get a glimpse of infinity, provided by the mirrored floor and ceiling:

We never quite got around to visit the «biblical» main attraction, though, the Clementimum, which will have to wait until next time (according to our daughter there will be one).

FUN FACT: There are more libraries than grammar schools in the Czech republic, as many as one per 1,971 Czech citizens, adding up to a total of 6,019 libraries. Czechs visiting libraries also buy more books than most; in fact 11 books a year, on average, according to the New York Times.
